Linda VanderWaal serves as the Associate Director of Program Development at the Oakland Livingston Human Service Agency since January 2011, focusing on employer growth, outreach, and resource development, alongside managing staff hiring and evaluations within Head Start and reunification programs. Previously, as the Head Start Connections Program Coordinator, Linda aimed to foster healthy self-esteem and social competency in children while building relationships with families and community resources. Earlier experiences include supporting TRiO Educational Support at Grand Rapids Community College, interning at Family Resource Council, and serving as a Community Worker Intern at the Kent County Health Department. Linda holds a Career Development Facilitator Certification and a Bachelor of Science in Community Health from Grand Valley State University.
