Adrian Torres

Scholarship Program at Oakland Promise

Adrian Torres has a diverse background in community service and educational achievement. Currently, Adrian serves as a Graduate Pre-Apprentice at Cypress Mandela, Inc. Since January 2013, Adrian has been involved with the Oakland Public Library, working as The Bike Fix Mechanic to assist with bicycle repairs and as a Library Aide supporting library programs. Additionally, Adrian is a CODEversity Fellow with Students Rising Above and participates in various programs, including College Track and Oakland Promise. Adrian's educational qualifications include an Associate's degree in Mathematics from Laney College, a High School Diploma from Skyline High School's Green Academy Pathway, and a certificate in Environmental Design/Architecture from UC Berkeley.
