Oakland Promise
Tiana Corona is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in partnerships and community relations within the educational sector. Currently serving as the Director of Partnerships at Oakland Promise since September 2022, Tiana previously held roles as Senior Manager of Corporate & Community Relations and various managerial positions at Oakland Promise from 2019 to 2021. With a background in college persistence and community engagement, Tiana's earlier experience includes roles at East Bay College Fund and Public Allies, where responsibilities ranged from managing persistence initiatives to active participation as an AmeriCorps member. Tiana's career began at Graniterock as a Certified Weighmaster, complemented by an internship at LifeMoves focused on community engagement and recruitment. Tiana holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from San Francisco State University, earned in 2015.

Oakland Promise is available to young learners (from newborns to college students) and their families provide every child with financial resources, educational programming, mentorship, and a supportive community to assist them and their families in pursuing and succeeding in higher education and the career of their choice.
