Marjorie Goux

A passionate advocate for equity in education who hails from a family of educators, Marjorie Goux, supports education-focused organizations through board and other advocacy work and is proud to serve on the Board of the Oakland Public Education Fund.

Marjorie is Chief Legal Officer of RODAN + FIELDS, makers of life-changing skincare. She is also strategic advisor for the seed-stage and award-winning kids’ computing startup TANOSHI. Previously, Marjorie served as Chief Legal Counsel at CLIF BAR whose energy bars fuel their adventures. Earlier, she was business counsel at Oakland-based, CLOROX, for a series of its businesses, while also serving as Chief Counsel for its Global Alliances team. Marjorie began her career at HP after being in private practice with BAKER MCKENZIE in London, UK and Palo Alto, USA.

Marjorie graduated from the University of Washington (BSc Chemistry) and University College, London (Law), is an enthusiastic Oakland resident, and can often be seen walking in Knowland Park.
