A.s. Long

A.S. Long is an experienced educator and library aide with a strong background in teaching and customer service. Currently serving as an Elementary Educator at Berkeley Unified School District since August 2022 and as a Library Aide at Oakland Public Library, A.S. Long is dedicated to fostering effective learning environments and community engagement. Previous roles include Substitute Teacher at Alameda Unified School District, Lead Teacher at Aim High, and 4th Grade Teacher at Oakland Unified School District, showcasing a commitment to equitable education and innovative lesson implementation. A.S. Long holds a Master's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of Northern Colorado, along with a Bachelor's degree in African-American/Black Studies from the same institution.
