Brian Guenther

Brian Guenther is an experienced librarian currently serving as a Senior Librarian and Branch Manager at Oakland Public Library since March 2013. Prior experience includes roles as Extension Services Librarian and Reference Librarian at Fresno County Public Library from February 2008 to March 2013, and as Electronic Resources Librarian at Tulare County Library between July 2011 and October 2012. Additionally, Brian held positions as a Graduate Student Assistant at Wayne State University from 2005 to 2007 and worked as a Clerical Assistant at Detroit Public Library from January 2005 to June 2006. Brian holds a Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) from Wayne State University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Fine/Studio Arts from Michigan State University.
