Peter Elkowitz

Peter Elkowitz is an experienced instructor in Mechatronics at Oakland Schools Technical Campus - SW since October 2012, teaching subjects such as Engineering Design, CAD, Robotics, Math, and Physics. Previous engineering roles include Design and Release Engineer at A123 Systems, Senior Product Engineer at Engineering Technology Associates, Inc., and Program Manager at TZ Limited, where advanced automotive latch development programs were managed. Peter also contributed as a Student Teacher at Stevenson High School and co-owned Auto-Covers Inc., developing innovative products for pick-up trucks. Educational credentials include a MAT in Physics from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, and a B.A. in Accounting, both from Michigan State University.
