Thomas Matteson has extensive experience in technology coordination and support within educational settings. Currently serving as the Senior Technology Coordinator at Oakland Schools since July 2017, Thomas manages the Field Service Team for the Pontiac School District, focusing on project management and user support to advance district educational goals. Prior to this role, Thomas worked as a Senior Technology Support Specialist at Birmingham Public Schools, providing technical assistance and managing helpdesk operations. Earlier experience includes a position as Project Manager at Inacomp TSG, where responsibilities involved overseeing the deployment of various computing devices. Thomas earned a Bachelor of Music in Music Teacher Education from Ohio Northern University between 1994 and 1998 and completed secondary education at Portage Northern High School.
