Alberto Victorica

Alberto Victorica currently serves as a Chicano Studies Facilitator and Care Manager for the Office of Equity at Oakland Unified School District, a position held since October 2023. Previously, from February 2018 to September 2023, Alberto worked at Safe Passages as Dean of Students and Afterschool Parent Liaison. Alberto's earlier experience includes a role as Program Manager for the Latino Men and Boys Program at The Unity Council from March 2011 to January 2018, where responsibilities encompassed developing partnerships with government agencies and mentoring young men facing academic challenges. Alberto also engaged in health workshops with students and their families, fostering community health awareness. Additionally, experience at Altro Ltd and Comcast Cable provided a foundation in sales and customer service. Alberto holds a B.A. in Spanish Literary and Cultural Studies from Occidental College, earned between 2000 and 2005.
