Colleen Calvano

Colleen Calvano is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in the education sector. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Technology Services for Oakland Unified School District since January 2017, Colleen previously held the position of Director of Technology at Acalanes Union High School District from November 2000 to January 2017. Earlier in their career, Colleen worked as a Technology Coordinator and Desktop Publisher at Pittsburg Unified School District from 1988 to 2000, where responsibilities included technology planning and troubleshooting. Colleen's educational credentials include a Certified Chief Technology Officer designation from the CETPA Chief Technology Officer Program in 2016, an MA in Education from Chapman University, and a BA in Political Science and Administrative Studies from the University of California, Riverside, along with studies at other institutions.
