Drew Giles

Drew Giles has extensive experience in the education field. Drew is currently working as the Director of Quality Enhancement & Professional Development at the Oakland Unified School District. Prior to this, they held the same position at the same school district from 2015 to 2018.

Before joining the Oakland Unified School District, Drew worked at the Franklin-McKinley School District as the Director of Educare Programs from 2018 to 2021.

In 2001 to 2005, Drew obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Colorado Boulder. Additionally, Drew holds various certifications, including Children's Yoga Teacher, Kids Yoga Instructor Certification, Yoga Instructor Certification - Level I, and Early Childhood Director's Credential, among others.
