Feroze Munshi

Feroze Munshi has a diverse work experience spanning multiple educational institutions and roles. Feroze is currently serving as the lead coach for new teacher support and development at the Oakland Unified School District. Prior to this, they worked as a national faculty member for PBLWorks, where they conducted professional development workshops for teachers and school leaders, focusing on under-resourced schools and populations, STEAM subjects, and college success for first-in-family students. Feroze also co-developed training materials and workshops for a team of 80+ teacher-educators and consultants.

Other roles in Feroze's career include founding physics teacher at Lighthouse Community, physics teacher at Lick-Wilmerding High School, graduate student instructor and MACSME resident teacher supervisor at UC Berkeley, assistant director of senior signature projects at The Bay School of San Francisco, founding digital media arts teacher at Envision Schools, founding math and physics teacher at High Tech High, and math teacher at Miami-Dade County Public Schools. Overall, Feroze has a strong background in education, teaching various subjects and contributing to professional development in different educational settings.

Feroze Munshi earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Miami from 1997 to 2001. Later, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Education at the University of California, Berkeley from 2012 to 2016. Feroze continued their education at Berkeley, focusing on Education Policy, and was enrolled in the ABD (All But Dissertation) program from 2012 to 2019.
