Lacy Lefkowitz

Lacy Lefkowitz has extensive educational experience within the Oakland Unified School District, holding positions as Assistant Principal and Dean since August 2007, where responsibilities included implementing restorative justice practices, developing academic interventions, and facilitating professional learning communities. Lacy also served as a History Teacher, creating engaging lesson plans and co-leading the Positive Behavior System. Additional experience includes organizing weddings with Assisting Friends, recruiting for The New Teacher Project, and participating in AmeriCorps TEAMS, focusing on multicultural education. Lacy Lefkowitz holds an Administrative Credential in School Leadership from Reach University, a Master of Arts in Teaching from Binghamton University, and a Bachelor of Arts in History from SUNY Geneseo.
