Vinh Trinh

Vinh Trinh has significant experience in education, having served as Principal at Oakland Unified School District since August 2010, overseeing the achievement and management of 1,850 students and a staff of 118. Under Vinh Trinh's leadership, the school has decreased the dropout rate from 29% to 10% and increased the cohort graduation rate from 63% to 81%. Vinh Trinh has developed partnerships with multiple colleges and secured a $400,000 grant to establish a 9-14 system in collaboration with Berkeley City College. Previously, Vinh Trinh held various roles in the Oakland Unified School District, including Assistant Principal, where accomplishments included guiding significant increases in API scores and student attendance. Vinh Trinh holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Education from Harvard University and an Administrative Credential from California State University - East Bay.
