Arina Bokas

Arina Bokas serves as the Director of Communications and Marketing for the School of Engineering and Computer Science at Oakland University, a position held since January 2020, after previously working as the Communications and Marketing Manager within the same department. Prior to this role, Arina was the Executive Editor at KIDS STANDARD PUBLICATION INC, Michigan, from March 2015 to December 2022, overseeing content development and various marketing campaigns for a nonprofit organization focused on educational programs. Additional experience includes serving as Adjunct Faculty in Composition at Charles S. Mott Community College, and roles in public relations, production, and marketing at The Future of Learning/Independence Television, the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, and Thomson Reuters. Arina Bokas holds multiple degrees, including a PhD in Linguistics from Orel State University and an MSA in International Administration from Central Michigan University. Currently, Arina is pursuing further education in the Leadership Academy at Oakland University.
