Carrie A. Gilchrist

Carrie A. Gilchrist, Ph.D., serves as an Adjunct Professor at Oakland University since May 2007, teaching courses such as COM 101 and ED 586. Additionally, Carrie holds the position of Senior Financial Aid Outreach Adviser, where responsibilities include delivering public presentations and workshops aimed at assisting students and families with college financing, FAFSA applications, and evaluating financial aid offers. Prior to this role, Carrie worked as a Senior Financial Aid Outreach Advisor, Financial Aid Advisor, and Financial Aid Technician at Macomb Community College from November 2006 to May 2007. Carrie earned a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Oakland University (2008-2013), a Master of Education in College Student Affairs Leadership from Grand Valley State University (2002-2004), and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Albion College (1996-2000).
