Steve MacKey

Steve Mackey currently serves as the Senior Vice President for Finance & Administration and Treasurer to the Board of Trustees at Oakland University since January 2023. Previously, Steve held roles including Associate Vice President for Finance at California State University, Monterey Bay from April 2019 to December 2022, and Vice Dean, Administration and Finance and Chief Operating Officer at the University of Southern California from June 2011 to August 2018. Additional experience includes co-founding and serving as Vice President of Finance at Luminosity Global Consulting Group between March 2009 and May 2018 and various positions at the University of Miami from March 2003 to June 2011. Steve's early career featured roles at AT&T, Big Oak Flat - Groveland Unified School District, and the United States Air Force, where Steve achieved the rank of Technical Sergeant. Educationally, Steve holds a BS in Business Management from the University of Maryland.
