Mathew Peters

Mathew Peters, LCSW, has an extensive background in mental health and case management, currently serving as the Director of Adult Case Management at Oaklawn Psychiatric Center since August 2016. In this role, Mathew leads a team dedicated to providing case management services and skills training to severely mentally ill adults. Previously, Mathew worked as a Skills Training Specialist at Oaklawn from February 2013 to August 2016, focusing on financial and medication management. Prior experience includes serving as a Mental Health Technician at Memorial Health System, where responsibilities involved facilitating inpatient group therapy and crisis intervention, and coaching middle school soccer at Niles Community Schools. Mathew holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Albion College and a Master of Social Work from Andrews University, specializing in mental health.
