James joined Oakley in 2021 and is responsible for protecting and building the Oakley brand and helping to communicate key messages to stakeholders.
Prior to joining Oakley, James was a Partner at the public relations company Maitland/AMO where he advised a number of private equity, asset management, and hedge fund clients. Before joining Maitland James spent seven years at Bloomberg News as a financial journalist. Prior to Bloomberg, James qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in London.
James holds a BA (Hons) in Modern Languages from Durham University and a PGDip in Broadcast Journalism from City University.
