Kim Bergen-Jackson PhD, RN-BC, LNHA has over two decades of experience in the field of nursing and administration, currently serving as the Administrator at Oaknoll Retirement Residence since December 2016, after a progression from LPN to Director of Health Services. Concurrently, Kim holds a position as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at The University of Iowa College of Nursing and shares expertise as a Litigative Expert Consultant for the U.S. Department of Justice, specializing in nursing practice in post-acute care settings. Academic achievements include a Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing with a focus on Gerontological Nursing from the University of Iowa, and participation as a Fellow in the Geriatric Nursing Leadership Academy.
