Deepesh Thakrar

Deepesh Thakrar has extensive experience in debt finance, currently serving as Managing Director at OakNorth since June 2015, previously holding positions as Senior Director and Director in the same field. Deepesh is also a Committee Member for the Credit Opportunities & Real Estate Committee at the GRI Institute, which brings together senior professionals influencing capital decisions across Europe and the UK. Prior experience includes roles at Santander Corporate Banking as a Relationship Director and Relationship Manager, as well as serving as a Relationship Manager at Abbey Commercial Mortgages, focusing on commercial lending for businesses with turnovers below £1 million. Deepesh began a career as a Consultant at Blacktower Financial Advisers in 2006.
