Petr Macal

Petr Macal has a diverse work experience in software engineering. Petr is currently working at OAK'S LAB as a Lead Software Engineer. Prior to this, they worked as a Software Engineer at the same company. Before joining OAK'S LAB, Petr was a Principal Software Engineer at Softikon Group where they led a small group of professionals and focused on designing reliable and scalable data-centric systems. Petr also had a role as a Senior Software Engineer at Avast Software, where they were part of the privacy frontend team and contributed to the development of Avast Password extension. Petr has experience as a Frontend Engineer at Showmax, working on various projects for the Showmax product. Petr also has a background as a self-employed Javascript Developer, providing full-stack development services tailored to the needs of their clients. Earlier in their career, Petr worked as a Software Developer at BAŤA, akciová společnost, where they fixed bugs and developed new features for the Bata global ecommerce platform. Petr's work experience dates back to 2011 when they started as a Front-end Developer.

Petr Macal attended SOŠ Strážnice from 2005 to 2009, where they studied The Information Technology and Technical Lyceum, although they did not earn a degree. Subsequently, from 2009 to 2011, they enrolled at Masaryk University Brno and pursued a degree in Computer Software Engineering without obtaining a specific degree.
