Virginia Wang

Virginia Wang has extensive work experience in the legal and compliance field. Virginia currently serves as the Head of Compliance Asia Pacific at Oaktree Capital Management, L.P. Prior to this role, they were the Head of Legal & Compliance at Pictet Asset Management, where they provided legal and compliance support on global and regional projects. Virginia also worked as the Senior Legal Counsel and Head of Compliance at a Fund Management Firm, providing in-house legal and regulatory support. Before that, they held positions at Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse, JPMorgan Chase, and Linklaters, where they gained experience in private wealth management compliance, structured products, fixed income derivatives, and general counsel roles.

Virginia Wang earned a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree in Law from East China University of Political Science and Law in 2001. Virginia then completed a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in International Law and Legal Studies at King's College London in 2005.
