Oakwood School
Mr. Jim Blair’s primary role at Oakwood is to assist both the Head of School with day-to-day operations, strategic planning, and campus development initiatives. Mr. Blair comes to Oakwood from Arlington Public Schools, where he served 7 years as a lead teacher for The Pathways Program, a special effort for at-risk students involved with the Juvenile Court System. Mr. Blair has also served as a Special Education teacher in both the regular education and self-contained settings. He currently holds a post-graduate Professional License issued by the Virginia Department of Education in the areas of History and Social Sciences, Specific Learning Disabilities (K-12), Emotional Disturbance (K-12), and Administration and Supervision (PreK-12).
