Lane McIntyre

Mr. Lane McIntyre has served as the Head of Oakwood School since 2017 and an active leader in Oakwood’s administration since 1988. Having received his bachelor’s degree from Wheaton College and his master’s degree from Columbia International University, Mr. McIntyre began his career as the Director for the Oakwood English Language Institute and is certified in Adult English as a Second Language. As an accomplished educator and administrator, Mr. McIntyre has dedicated his life to advocating for students with learning differences. Lane serves as an active member of the Virginia Association of Independent Schools, Virginia Association of Independent Specialized Education Facilities, and the Association of Independent Schools of Greater Washington.
