Elizabeth Rhodes has a diverse work experience in the education sector. Elizabeth is currently employed as the National Lead for Student Inclusion at Oasis Community Learning. Prior to this role, they worked at Ark for several years, holding positions such as Assistant Principal for Inclusion at Ark Burlington Danes Academy, Deputy Head Teacher at Ark Kings Academy (Primary Phase), Assistant Principal for Personal Development at Ark Kings Academy, and Director of English and Literacy (Extended SLT) at Ark Kings Academy. Elizabeth also worked as a Teach First participant and Secondary English teacher. Elizabeth has a PhD in English Literature from the University of Exeter, where their research focused on Mary Robinson's Theatrical Feminism. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated a strong commitment to supporting vulnerable students, improving inclusion, and promoting character development.
Elizabeth Rhodes has a Master's degree in Women's Studies from the University of Oxford, which they obtained from 2008 to 2009. Elizabeth then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in English Literature (British and Commonwealth) from the University of Exeter from 2009 to 2013. Later, they attended Birmingham City University from 2013 to 2015, where they earned a PGCE degree in Secondary English. Elizabeth also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English Literature (British and Commonwealth) from Cardiff University, which they completed from 2005 to 2008. Recently, in 2020 to 2021, they obtained a degree in NASENCo (Special Education and Teaching) from Middlesex University.
