Jernej Kos

Jernej Kos is an experienced technology professional with a robust background in software development and engineering. Currently serving as the Director at Oasis Protocol Foundation since July 2020, Jernej is also the Founder and Senior Software Engineer at UNICORE, a role held since March 2014, where interesting projects in embedded software design and distributed systems are undertaken. Jernej has co-founded Layer8 and has held senior engineering positions at Oasis Labs and Genialis, contributing to various innovative projects, including the KORUZA wireless communication system. With a foundation in research from the University of Ljubljana, where a PhD was obtained in Computer Science, and significant experience as a lead developer and network engineer at wlan slovenia, Jernej possesses a comprehensive skill set tailored for advancing scalable web applications and decentralized networks.
