Ali Bonar has held various roles in the healthcare and marketing industries since 2013. In 2013, they were a Marketing Intern at Fit Approach, where they drafted marketing emails and managed over 3,000 brand ambassadors through social media outlets. In 2014, they were an Oncology Nutrition Intern at Smith Integrative Oncology. In 2015, they held two roles: Public Relations Account Executive at Chempetitive Group, and Assistant Account Executive, Healthcare at MSLGROUP. At Chempetitive Group, they were responsible for branding, product launches, public affairs and media relations. At MSLGROUP, they were responsible for media outreach and secured placements in top national, trade and local outlets. In 2016, they were a Marketing employee at Doximity, the largest medical network with over a million clinicians as verified members. Finally, in 2018, they became the CEO & Co-Founder of Oat Haus, where they created the world's first oat-based spread.

Ali Bonar attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2011 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Sciences. In 2013, they also took part in a Semester at Sea program.
