Karis Jin is the Sci-Tech & Merch Development Director for Asia at Oatly AB, overseeing quality, health, safety, sustainability, and human resources since January 2018. Prior experience includes working in supply chain logistics and quality at Danone, focusing on effective importation and distribution, and serving as a Supplier QA at Starbucks, where responsibilities included developing quality assurance programs. Karis has also contributed as a Graduate Research Fellow at the University of Minnesota, conducting research on food safety and chemical inactivation of bioterrorism toxins, and previously worked as a CIQ Officer at China Customs, ensuring compliance with safety regulations for imported goods. Karis holds a Bachelor’s degree in Polymer/Plastics Engineering from Fudan University and a Master's degree from the University of Minnesota.
