Eric Gardzina

Eric Gardzina currently serves as Senior Vice President of Risk Management at Ob Hospitalist Group, a position held since June 2022. Previously, Gardzina was Vice President of Insurance and Risk Management at Envision Healthcare from April 2018 to June 2022 and Associate Vice President of Insurance at AMSURG from June 2015 to June 2022, overseeing insurance functions for various healthcare services. Gardzina has also held the role of VP/Director of Underwriting at Consensus Management, managing underwriting operations for medical malpractice risk groups, and served as Director of Claims at LifePoint Hospitals, where responsibilities included the management of a professional liability claims program. Gardzina's early career includes service as a Major in the US Army, leading combat units, and as Marketing Manager for The Reciprocal Group, focusing on sales and market strategies. Gardzina holds a BS in Accounting from Norwich University, earned between 1988 and 1992.
