Mark Simon, MD, MMM, serves as the Chief Medical Officer at Ob Hospitalist Group since January 2009, leading clinical management and quality improvement initiatives for the largest Ob Hospitalist clinician group in the nation. Previous roles include Vice President of Medical Affairs, overseeing physician performance and clinical quality programs, and Regional Medical Director at Valley Medical Center, where Mark implemented patient safety initiatives and contributed to electronic health record transitions. With experience in clinical informatics at Exempla Healthcare and independent peer review services, Mark has a strong background in enhancing patient care protocols and fostering physician collaboration. Mark holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School, a Master of Medical Management from Carnegie Mellon University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Colorado Boulder.
