Troy Eckman

Troy Eckman currently serves as the Department Chair at Ellis Medicine since March 2023 and has been a Physician/Laborist with Ob Hospitalist Group since June 2016, providing 24-hour obstetrical coverage. Prior experience includes serving as Department Chair of Obstetrics and Gynecology at McDonough District Hospital from January 2008 to May 2016 and as Medical Staff Quality Chairman. Additionally, Troy Eckman founded and developed the Womens Health Center of Macomb, which operated from July 2000 to May 2016, expanding to include multiple healthcare providers. Troy Eckman earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine and completed an Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine, having previously obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology/Animal Biology from Western Illinois University.
