Vice President Of Operations, Obama Presidential Center at Obama Foundation

David Reynolds has extensive work experience in various leadership roles related to operations, facilities management, and environmental services. David is currently the Vice President of Operations at the Obama Foundation, where they are responsible for creating and implementing operational plans for the Obama Presidential Center. Prior to this, they served as the Commissioner for the City of Chicago's Department of Assets, Information and Services, where they provided leadership for managing the city's fleet and public buildings. David has also held positions as the Vice President of Real Estate Services at IFF (CDFI), where they assisted nonprofit agencies with real estate decisions, and as the Vice President of the Sr. Section Manager at AECOM, where they restructured the environmental practice. David Reynolds has also worked in academia as an Adjunct Professor at North Park University and Illinois Institute of Technology. Earlier in their career, they held management positions at Shaw Environment & Infrastructure and the City of Chicago's Department of Environment, where they played key roles in environmental projects and initiatives. David began their career as an Environmental Engineer at Teng & Associates and Harza Environmental Services.

David Reynolds earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology between 1985 and 1989. In addition to their degree, they obtained several certifications including LEED Accredited Professional from the U.S. Green Building Council, Illinois Professional Engineer from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation in November 1995, and Indiana Professional Engineer from the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency in July 1994.
