Emily Quist

Emily Quist is a seasoned professional in visitor services and experience, currently serving as the Senior Director of Visitor Services & Experience at the Obama Foundation since July 2023. Prior roles include Director of Marketing & Communications at the Chicago Sinfonietta from July 2021 to July 2023 and Director of Visitor Engagement at SFMOMA from January 2019 to June 2021. Emily has also held leadership positions at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts and the Oakland Museum of California, where responsibilities included associate directorship and visitor strategy roles. Early career experiences include various positions at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago and the Pacific Wildlife Galleries. Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts in Fine and Studio Arts from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a Certificate in Marketing Metrics from the University of California, Berkeley.
