Itbaan Nafi

Itbaan Nafi is the Founder of Breakthrough since February 2024, and serves as the Head Teaching Assistant for Management Science & Engineering 165 at Stanford University, a position held since October 2020. Nafi is also the Inaugural Obama-Chesky Scholar with the Obama Foundation, focusing on implementing Design for Bangladesh. Previous roles include Product Design and Marketing Intern at Apple, Business Development Manager at Beta University, and Founder & Executive Director of Design For Bangladesh, an initiative aimed at equipping Bangladeshi college students with design thinking and programming skills. Additionally, Nafi has interned at Omnicure and Bloomberg LP, gaining experience in product design and analytics. Academic achievements include pursuing a Master's degree in Engineering and a self-designed Bachelor's degree in Software, Policy, and Design Engineering at Stanford University, following a high school diploma with honors from Colleyville Heritage High School.
