Kathleen O'Leary

Kathleen O'Leary serves as Nonprofit Tax Counsel at the Obama Foundation since May 2022, leveraging legal expertise in a nonprofit environment. Previously, Kathleen worked at Perkins Coie LLP, where roles included Associate from November 2020 to May 2022 and Summer Associate in 2019. Prior experience also includes serving as a Law Clerk at the Mandel Legal Aid Clinic at the University of Chicago Law School from June 2018 to June 2019, and as Education and Visitors Services Associate for the Student Conservation Association with the National Park Service from May 2015 to June 2017. Kathleen O'Leary holds a J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School (2017-2020) and a Bachelor of Arts in English and History, with a Minor in Classical Studies, from the University of Florida (2011-2015).
