Luis A. Ibarra

Luis Adrian Ibarra is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in brand identity and graphic design. Currently serving as the Design and Brand Senior Associate at the Obama Foundation since August 2018, Ibarra also holds dual roles at the University of Chicago, where responsibilities include Assistant Director of Design and Identity and Senior Designer since 2012. Previous experience includes a position as Graphic Designer at Steppenwolf Theatre Company from October 2006 to June 2012 and a designer role at Newcity Magazine Chicago in early 2003. Ibarra began a career in graphic design as a Graphic Design Intern at Morris Design from 2000 to 2001. Educational credentials include a BA in Graphic Design from the University of Illinois Chicago, completed in 2003, along with a specialization in Typography and Print from HGK Hochschule Luzern – Design & Kunst in 2001.
