Martin Taranetz

Head Of Digital Rail Innovation at ÖBB

Martin Taranetz has work experience with two companies. From November 2016 to December 2018, they worked at ÖBB as a Technology Manager. From January 2019 to December 2019, they were a Project Manager at the same company. From May 2020 to June 2022, they served as Team Lead Mobile Radio Networks. In December 2019, they became a Program Manager, and as of July 2022, they hold the position of Head of Digital Rail Innovation. Prior to their time at ÖBB, from April 2011 to October 2016, Martin Taranetz worked at Technische Universität Wien as a Team Leader and Industry-oriented Researcher.

Martin Taranetz has a diverse education history in the field of telecommunications engineering. Martin obtained their Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology/Technician from Technische Universität Wien in 2008. Following that, they pursued a Master's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the same institution, completing it in 2011.
