Bob Nies

Bob Nies has extensive experience in accounting, currently serving as a Senior Accountant at Oberg Industries since February 2020. Previously, Bob held various roles at Gautier Steel Ltd from April 2014 to February 2020, including Assistant Controller and Accounting Manager, where responsibilities encompassed preparing monthly financial statements, journal entries, account reconciliations, and managing accounts payable and receivable. Bob began the accounting career as a Staff Accountant and later as an Accounting Intern, gaining foundational experience in invoice processing and cash receipts. Before entering the accounting field, Bob worked as a Maintenance Worker at Meadowink Golf Course and as a General Laborer at Waldec Homes. Bob holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business with a focus on Accounting from the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown.
