Erich Burnett

Erich Burnett is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in editorial management and strategic storytelling. Currently serving as a Senior Internal Communications Officer and Director of Content and Strategic Storytelling at Oberlin College since September 2012, Burnett plays a pivotal role in promoting the Conservatory of Music and its initiatives. Prior experience includes Editor-in-Chief at Cleveland Scene Magazine, where readership increased significantly while managing a budget cut, and Editor-in-Chief of Medical Economics at Advanstar Communications. Burnett also held various editorial roles at Village Voice Media for over a decade, overseeing national film coverage and optimizing editorial processes. An early career included sports reporting at The Chronicle-Telegram. Burnett holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication from Ohio University.
