Prior to this role, Jan worked as a Supervision Engineer at DB International GmbH from January 2010 to August 2016, where responsibilities included leading teams on significant infrastructure projects such as the BiBanPo tunnel and the Yellow River Bridge in China. Additional experience includes serving as a Structural Consultant Engineer for the Qatar Integrated Railways Project and a Consultant Bridge Engineer for various projects in Wuhan, China. Jan began a career in structural engineering at Obermeyer Planen + Beraten GmbH, contributing to multiple projects in Germany. The educational background includes a Diplom in Bauingenieurswesen from Hochschule Magdeburg-Stendal, obtained between 1996 and 2000.
