Mercy Hailu is a dedicated professional with a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science from Morehead State University. Currently serving as a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens and a Patient Care Technician at DaVita Kidney Care, Mercy monitors patients during dialysis and ensures their comfort. Previous roles include Membership Services Representative and several research fellowships, focusing on antibiotic resistance and biodiversity in spider species. Mercy has also contributed as a Peer Tutor, Orientation Leader, and Peer Coach, providing academic support and career guidance to students. Additional experience includes working as a Store Cashier at Aramark and a Research Intern at St. Claire HealthCare, where efforts were directed towards enhancing cancer imaging programs.

Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children (OBHC) is the largest provider of private, not-for-profit, residential childcare in the state. We are an affiliate of the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma, which is comprised of 1,700 Oklahoma Southern Baptist churches. OBHC does not charge for any of our services, nor accepts government funds. OBHC is funded through the generosity of individuals, businesses as well as gifts from Southern Baptist churches through offerings and the Cooperative Program.
