Edgars Dzirkalis

Edgars Dzirkalis has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Edgars most recently worked as an Accounting Manager at Obie starting in April 2023. Prior to that, they were a Revenue Accounting Manager at Blockchain.com from May 2022 to February 2023, where they oversaw revenue recognition for crypto OTC and on-exchange traded products. Before that, they worked as a Revenue Analyst at Health IQ from April 2021 to April 2022, where they conducted financial modeling and developed actionable insights. Edgars also has experience as a Revenue Control Analyst at Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking, where they worked on exchange fee reconciliation and accounting from August 2016 to April 2021. Edgars began their career as an Operations Analyst at Ravinia Capital LLC from March 2015 to August 2016 and at AON from January 2014 to January 2015. Edgars also has experience as a Freelance Officer at the Ministry of Economics from May 2013 to January 2014 and as a Research Assistant at the Association of European Border Regions from August 2012 to October 2012.

Edgars Dzirkalis has a diverse education history. In 2008, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Rīga Stradiņš University. From 2011 to 2013, they pursued a Master's degree in European Studies and Social Sciences at the University of Flensburg. During the same period, they also obtained a Master's degree in Social Sciences with a focus on Cross Border relations from Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark.

In 2018, Edgars attended the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, where they completed a First Finance Training & Certification. This certification covered subjects such as Money Markets and Bond Markets, as well as FX Swaps and FX Options.

Apart from formal education, Edgars has also obtained additional certifications. In 2015, they completed the "Foundations of Programming: Databases" course from lynda.com. In 2019, they obtained a certificate in "Accounting: Principles of Financial Accounting" from IESE Business School on Coursera.
