Chas Galey

Chas Galey is a highly experienced professional in systems engineering and model-based systems engineering (MBSE), currently serving as a Member of the Technical Staff at P-1 AI, where expertise in MBSE is leveraged to develop engineering artificial general intelligence systems. Chas co-chairs the UML Revision Task Force at OMG and previously held senior roles at Sierra Nevada Corporation and NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, focusing on enterprise-wide MBSE methodologies, digital engineering solutions, and cross-organizational process visualization. With a strong educational background in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Space Systems Engineering from the University of Wyoming and the University of Michigan, Chas has contributed to significant projects, including the successful capture of over $13 billion in contracts and advancements in cybersecurity requirements documentation aligned with DoD standards.
