Richard Soley

Richard Soley is the current Chairman and CEO of Object Management Group. Richard has also previously served as the Chairman and CEO of A. I. Architects, Inc. from October 1985 to December 1988. Richard is also a co-founder of rollApp.

Soley has been instrumental in the development and growth of Object Management Group, which is best known for its work in developing the Unified Modeling Language (UML) standard. Richard has also been a strong advocate for the use of model-based systems engineering, which is a approach to systems engineering that uses models to represent the system under design.

Richard Soley received their PhD in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, their SM in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and their SB in Computer Science & Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Richard also attended Park School.
