Product Support Manager at Oblong Industries

Cory Christian has been working in the software industry since 2006. Cory began their career as a Software Development Co-Op at Fujifilm E-Systems, where they provided bug fixes and feature updates to a large software product, as well as GUI experience with design and implementation of new interfaces and modification of existing ones. In 2008, they joined Xerox as a Software Q.A. Engineer, where they interpreted specifications to design new test cases and automated repetitive and lengthy test procedures via bash and AutoHotkey scripting. In 2010, Cory joined Blackboard, Inc. as a Client Support Engineer, where they resolved support cases ranging from Oracle database issues to front-end functionality problems, designed and tested SQL queries for both diagnostic purposes and client requests, and established strong professional relationships with client administrative teams. In 2011, they were promoted to Unix Team Lead at Blackboard. In 2015, Cory moved to Chrome River Technologies, where they served as Software Support Coordinator. Most recently, they have held the role of Product Support Manager at Oblong Industries Inc since 2017.

Cory Christian graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2008 with a B.S in Applied Science and Technology; Computer Science and Mathematics Studies.
