David Ormbakken Henriksen

David Ormbakken Henriksen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. In their most recent role, they served as the Chief Information Security Officer at OBOS, a position they have held since November 2021. Prior to that, they held the role of Group IT Security Manager at the same company from August 2020 to November 2021. Before joining OBOS, David worked as an Information Security Architect at Statnett SF from August 2019 to July 2020. David Ormbakken also has experience as a Senior Consultant at Transcendent Group from January 2016 to August 2019 and as a Manager at BDO Norge from September 2013 to January 2016. David began their professional career at KPMG Norway, where they worked as a Senior Associate from August 2012 to September 2013. David Ormbakken also has experience as a Staff Engineer at Forsvaret - Norwegian Armed Forces from August 2009 to January 2012. Prior to that, David worked as a Sales Representative at Elkjop Nordic AS from October 2004 to August 2009. David Ormbakken started their career in the military, serving as a Corporal in the Norwegian Armed Forces from August 2003 to July 2004 as a Second Team Leader of the RB-70 team.

David Ormbakken Henriksen holds a Master's Degree in Information Security, which they obtained from Gjøvik University College (HiG) from 2009 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Information Security at the same institution, from 2006 to 2009. David Ormbakken also earned 30 credits towards a B.Sc. degree at South Dakota Mines in 2008. In addition to their academic achievements, David has obtained several certifications in the field of IT and cybersecurity, including ITIL Foundation, ISO/IEC 27032 Lead Cybersecurity Manager, PRINCE2 Foundation, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer, and Kryptokvalifisering - grad 1 from the Norwegian Armed Forces.
