Vassilis Penitas

Vassilis joined Obrela as SVP Sales MEA in 2022, with the responsibility to lead business development, execute the go-to-market strategy and build strong customer relationships and strategic partnerships in the Middle East and Africa.

Vassilis is a senior sales leader with more than 25 years of broad-based experience in the IT industry, including software, hardware, and services with a focus on cybersecurity. He has strong experience in managing sales and presales teams, driving international operations, and succeeding in high performance in complex business challenges coupled with a consistent track record of excellence in business development and account management.

Before joining Obrela, he held a number of management positions with companies such as Dell Secureworks, Encode, Oracle, Sun Microsystems, and more.

Vassilis holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics and a Master of Science in Electronics & Communication Engineering from the National Kapodistrian University of Athens and a preliminary MBA from Heriot-Watt University.
