Preston Richey

Preston Richey has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Preston is currently working as a Senior Web Developer at Observable since 2022. Previously, they worked at Postlight from 2018 to 2022, where they held several positions including Lead Software Engineer / Engineering Manager, Senior Software Engineer, and Full Stack Engineer. During their time at Postlight, Preston worked on various projects such as redesigning and rebuilding Mailchimp's developer documentation and developing a web application called Textmoji. Prior to Postlight, they briefly worked as a Frontend Developer at SelectQuote Insurance Services in 2018. Before that, Preston worked at Barkley from 2014 to 2018, starting as a Web Developer and later transitioning to the role of Creative Technologist. Preston also worked as a Web Developer at Enactus from 2013 to 2014. Preston began their career as a Spanish/Math Tutor at Missouri State University in 2012.

Preston Richey completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Spanish and Computer Science from Missouri State University from the year 2010 to 2014. In 2012, they attended Universidad de Belgrano for a brief period to study Latin American Studies.
