Archie Horton

Archie Horton has over 25 years of experience in the technology industry. Archie began their career at Ociter Enterprises in 1996, where they held multiple positions, including Business Development Manager and Director of Messaging Infrastructure. In 2003, they joined Silicon Plains, Inc. as a Regional Sales Manager, where they established the company's presence in the east territory and generated over 2.5M in annual software and services revenue. In 2007, they became the Regional Sales Leader for Ascendant Technology, where they were responsible for generating revenue in the Southeast region. In 2009, they moved to Dayhuff Group, Inc. as a Regional Sales Manager, where they were responsible for providing open source digital transformation solutions. In 2011, they co-founded 1st Resource Solutions, LLC and served as the COO. In 2014, they joined Zia Consulting, Inc. as an Enterprise Sales Director. In 2015, they became the Director of Business Development for DoD/Intel at Armedia. In 2018, they joined MRC Information Technology Inc. as a Sr. Account Executive for Cloud Solutions. In 2019, they became the Director of Cloud Services at DOMA Technologies. Finally, in 2021, they took on the role of Senior Director - Channel Sales at Observian, where they are responsible for building, developing, and nurturing strategic relationships with AWS and strategic AWS ecosystem partnerships.

Archie Horton holds a Bachelor's of Science in Management, Information Technology from the University of Maryland Global Campus, and is a graduate of Marion High School. Archie also holds several certifications, including VSP - VMware Cloud on AWS from VMware (obtained in February 2020), Amazon Web Services Business Professional from Amazon Web Services (AWS) (obtained in May 2019), Cloud Sales Ninja from Check Point Software Technologies, Ltd. (obtained in August 2021), CloudGuard Sales Specialist from Check Point Software Technologies, Ltd. (obtained in August 2021), and Amazon Web Services Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) (obtained in July 2019).
